Infopark Participates at Pravasi Bharathiya Divas 2008
	January 2008: Infopark took active participation in the 6th Pravasi Bharathiya Divas (PBD) from 7th - 9th January 2008. The PBD provides a platform for overseas Indians to help bond with India. The Kerala State pavilion portrayed various facets of the state with representations from the Department of Tourism, Information Technology, Industries & NORKA. Officials from Kerala State IT Mission and Infopark participated in the event at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
Commencement of Infopark Road November 2007
	November 2007: Honorable Chief Minister Shri. V.S.Achuthanandan unveiled the plaque marking the commencement of work of the new ‘ Infopark Road ’, connection the park to the Seaport-Airport road. The road on completion of work, will measure 2.37 km in length with land width of 35 meters and carriage width 19 meters. The road would have 4-lanes for large vehicles and two lanes for 2/3-wheeler traffic. A 3 meter median and 2.5 meter footpath on either side is also a standard feature of the road. The road will have one bridge, 5 culverts and 5 junctions. The land area acquired for the entire stretch is 15.23 acres. The road work has been contracted to M/s. Farooq Construction Pvt Ltd with KITCO as consultants for the project. The road being constructed as per MORT&H specification will cost Rs.15.40 crores. The road work is expected to be completed with 8 months.
Infopark participate at BangaloreIT.in 2007
	October 2007: BangaloreIT.in 2007 the prestigious event hosted by Government of Karnataka was held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bangalore from the 29th of October to 1st of November. Exhibitor participants from more than 100 companies participated in the event side by side a 3 day conference program involving many eminent IT personalities and professionals. Kerala State IT Mission, Technopark and Infopark participated in the 4 day event also with a prominent place among the exhibitors. Other government participations were from Rajasthan, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Orrisa and Karnataka. IT infrastructure giants like L&T, Maytas, Unitech, DLF etc also participated in the event showcasing the best of their infrastructure to the industry.The best stall award was given to Rajasthan Government.The event concluded on the 1st of November.

Japanese Delegation from Fukuoka City

September 2007: Fukuoka city delegation with officials from the government, private sectors and investment promotion cell of Fukuoka city visited Infopark, Kochi to discuss the potential of investment opportunity in Fukuoka city and similarly in Kerala. Automotive majors Toyota, Nissan and Daihatsu are based in Fukuoka city. The delegation expressed their keen interest in exploring the possibility of training man-power for the embedded software business in Kyushu, Fukuoka city. Infopark participates at Gitex 2007, Dubai

September 2007: Gitex, the leading international IT Trade event for Enterprise and SMBs for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, brings together major network, security, office technologies and IT solutions providers. Kerala State IT Mission, Technopark and Infopark jointly participated in Gitex 2007 conducted at World Trade Center, Dubai, held from the 8th- 12th September 2007.

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd to setup campus at Infopark

March 2007: IT majors Tata Consultancy Services Ltd today signed for 15.72 acres of land to set-up their private campus at Infopark. This will be first ever campus based development center being proposed by Tata Consultancy Services in the state. The company plans to have approximately 6000 IT professionals on full development of its 1 million sft campus.

IBS Software Services signs for land at Infopark

March 2007: Technopark based IBS Software Services Pvt Ltd has signed up for 4.21 acres of land to develop their own private campus at Infopark. IBS plans to set up a 3.50 lakh sft campus at Infopark with ambitions to increase their head count to approximately 2000 IT professional at Kochi.
